Brighton 17:30 Burnley
TEAM NEWS
Brighton striker Neal Maupay is back in contention after being left out against
Tottenham for disciplinary reasons.
Lewis Dunk
completes a ban, while Solly March and Alireza Jahanbakhsh will be assessed,
but Tariq Lamptey should be fit despite being withdrawn against Spurs because
of cramp.
Burnley captain Ben Mee could make his first appearance of the season after
recovering from a thigh injury.
Johann Berg
Gudmundsson may also return from a minor calf problem.
Phil Bardsley is
available again after a period of self-isolation following a positive
coronavirus test, but Erik Pieters and Jack Cork remain injured.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
§ Brighton beat Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor on
the final day of last season, but that is their only win in six Premier League
fixtures against the Clarets (D3, L2).
§ Burnley are
unbeaten in the past four league meetings at the Amex Stadium, although three
of those games ended in draws.
Brighton & Hove Albion
§ Brighton have won
just one of their past 12 Premier League home matches (D5, L6), and are winless
in seven at the Amex Stadium since beating Arsenal in June.
§ The Seagulls could
fail to win at least two of their opening eight top-flight fixtures for the
first time in their history on Friday.
§ Graham Potter's
side have allowed their opponents just 21 shots on target in this season's
Premier League, a joint-low with Manchester City, who have played one game
fewer.
§ Albion have won
five of their six top-flight matches played on a Friday, including both games
played at the Amex Stadium.
Burnley
§ The Clarets are
without a victory in seven Premier League matches, their longest winless run
since an eight-game streak two years ago. That sequence ended with a 1-0
victory against Brighton in December 2018.
§ Burnley have made
their worst start to a league season, claiming one point from six matches.
§ Sean Dyche's side
did not have a single shot on target against Chelsea last weekend, and overall
have registered a league-low 18 attempts on goal this season.
§ Chris Wood has
scored eight goals in his 16 league matches against Brighton, more than against
any other side.
§ Johann Berg
Gudmundsson could make his 100th Premier League appearance.
Prediction
Neither side have made a great start to this campaign
even thou they have both showed glimpses of good football. I think this game has
score draw written all over it probably 1-1 but my gut is telling me that Burnley
will nick it at the death and claim there first win of the season.
MY PREDICTION: Tough game for both 1-2

Southampton 20:00 Newcastle
TEAM NEWS
Southampton striker Danny Ings could be out for up to six weeks as he requires minor
surgery on a knee injury.
Saints also have concerns over the fitness of Jan Bednarek, Ryan Bertrand and
Ibrahima Diallo, who all suffered injuries during the win at Aston Villa.
Newcastle trio
Matty Longstaff, Paul Dummett and Ciaran Clark have all returned to training
and could play their first league games of the season.
Jonjo Shelvey,
Martin Dubravka and Matt Ritchie remain sidelined.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54743358
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
§ Southampton have
lost four of the past five meetings.
§ Last season,
Newcastle earned their first away league win against Southampton since
September 2004. They've never won back-to-back league visits in this fixture.
§ The teams have
played each other 100 times in all competitions. Southampton have won 37 times
to Newcastle's 40, with 23 draws.
Southampton
§ Southampton's tally
of 13 points is their most after seven games of a season since 2014-15.
§ They have lost all
three of their home Premier League fixtures on a Friday by an aggregate score
of 2-15, most recently humbled 0-9 by Leicester in October 2019.
§ Saints could finish
a day top of the Premier League for the first time. They last led a top-flight
table back in September 1988 under Chris Nicholl.
Newcastle United
§ The Magpies have
lost only two of their 10 matches in all competitions this season (W5, D3).
§ Newcastle are
unbeaten in their last four Premier League away games (W1, D3). They last went
longer without an away defeat between May-October 2011, a run of six matches.
§ Eleven points is
their highest total after seven fixtures of a Premier League campaign since
2011-12.
§ Callum Wilson has
scored six goals in his first seven Premier League appearances for Newcastle,
one more than he scored in his final 30 games for Bournemouth.
§ Steve Bruce has won
only one of his seven league away matches as a manager against Southampton (D2,
L4).
Prediction
I`ve underestimated Newcastle
all season or maybe they have outperformed my expectations either way they have
been playing well. You could be mistaken thinking Saints are a one-man team and
that would be understandable considering Ings seems to be involved in every goal.
MY PREDICTION: Ings to score all three goals 2-1

Aston Villa 12:00 Southampton
TEAM NEWS
Aston Villa head coach Dean Smith has an unchanged squad for Sunday's visit of
Southampton.
Smith has only
changed his starting line-up once in the Premier League all season, when Ross
Barkley came in for Conor Hourihane.
On-loan winger Theo
Walcott is available for Southampton, having been ineligible to face
parent club Everton last weekend.
Moussa Djenepo,
Will Smallbone and Mohammed Salisu remain sidelined.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54679346
Prediction
Villa`s flying start has seen them play
with added confidence, but Southampton are getting better each game.
MY PREDICTION: Hard-fought score draw
2-2

Newcastle 14:00 Everton
TEAM NEWS
Newcastle captain Jamal Lascelles is a doubt for Sunday's game because of a foot
injury.
Brothers Sean and
Matty Longstaff are now fit, and fellow midfielder Isaac Hayden is also in
contention after recovering from a hamstring problem.
Injured Everton
playmaker James Rodriguez will miss out and club captain Seamus Coleman is
still sidelined by a hamstring strain.
Jonjoe Kenny and
Jarrad Branthwaite are in contention after ankle injuries.
Lucas Digne and
Richarlison are serving suspensions for red cards.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54679343
Prediction
Newcastle are
playing solid football, and maybe starting to get a little more creative in their
attacking play, Everton have proven that they can live with the hype that surrounds
them but will suffer from the absence of Rodriguez and Captain Coleman.
MY PREDICTION: Everton to pinch it 1-2

Man United 16:30 Arsenal
TEAM NEWS
Manchester United defender Alex
Telles has tested positive for Covid-19 and so misses the game
while he self-isolates.
Anthony Martial,
who scored his first goal of the season against RB Leipzig on Thursday, serves the final
match of a three-game ban.
Arsenal's David Luiz is set to miss out because of a thigh injury sustained
during Sunday's defeat by Leicester.
Manager Mikel
Arteta will bring back a host of first-team regulars who were rested for
Thursday's win over Dundalk.
Deadline-day
signing Said Benrahma awaits his Hammers debut, having not been involved
against Manchester City last weekend because of a lack of match fitness.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54679344
Prediction
Big game for both teams to establish
themselves as title contenders and not just journeyman.
United have been suspect at the back and
not having new signing Telles won’t help the cause.
Whereas Arsenal have been solid at the
back but lacking goal scoring opportunities.
MY PREDICTION: Hard fought game but
United`s firepower maybe too much 3-1

Tottenham 19:15 Brighton
TEAM NEWS
Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho is set to rotate his squad after describing
Spurs' performance in the midweek Europa League defeat as poor.
Eric Dier and
Tanguy Ndombele are expected to be fit after being rested for Thursday's game
as a precaution.
Brighton captain Lewis Dunk is banned and forward Alireza Jahanbakhsh is out
with a hamstring problem.
Midfielder Davy
Propper has a slim chance of featuring after returning from an Achilles injury.
Danny Welbeck could
make his first appearance for the club. He was an unused substitute for
Monday's draw with West Brom.
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54679345
Prediction
Brighton have been playing some decent
football and I can`t believe they have only recorded one win so far, they
deserve a few more but I don`t think this is the game they're going to do it in.
Tottenham are on fire which my farther
is over the moon about. Smart money will be on Spurs taking home all the points
here but I feel Brighton will make life difficult for them.
MY PREDICTION: Spurs to win Bale`s first goal? 3-1
If you don't agree
with my predictions, let me know in the comments.
